Timber Ridge Estates was originally conceived and surveyed by the developers in 2004. At that time, there was only electricity and phone service along Timber Ridge Lake Rd in Alamance County and no private road or homes off of Spoon Lane. Since 2005, progress at Timber Ridge Estates has had:

  • Established septic permits for 3 to 4 bedroom homes
  • Surveyed and filed an approved plat of 12 home sites with 2 +/- or more acres per site
  • Constructed Bunton Drive off of Spoon Loop Rd for access to 6 building sites.
  • included drainage culvers under Bunton Drive
  • Installed underground Electricity and AT&T Phone/DSL lines to all home sites.
  • Installed REMC Security Lights from Bunton Dr to the intersection of Spoon Lane and Timber Ridge Lake Rd.
  • established and filed Covenants/Restrictions that are part of the deeds to the buildings sites.
  • There are now 9 new homes in and surrounding Timber Ridge Estates. Valued from $250,000 to $650,000.
  • Bunton Drive was designed to NCDOT standards for county subdivision roads. It is currently a priviate road until and unless 4 or more residents apply for county maintenance to take over care of the Bunton Drive.

 

 

 

Phase I building sites are Lots 1 through 6. These are the lots that border on Timber Ridge Lake Road and Spoon Lane. Phase II has building sites numbered 7 through  12 and these lots are accessible from Bunton Drive.  All lots are at least 2 acres +/- and feature rolling terrain. Some lots are located in hardwoods and tall pine forests, and some lots are in open fields as the aerial photo shows. Lots #1, #2, #3, #4/4A, #8, #10 and #11 are already sold. Six beautiful homes are already built and occupied by families. Attached alongside, but separate from Timber Ridge Estates is the old homestead lot which has great potential as a 6.4 Acre Mini-Horse Farm. This 6.4 acre lot is called the "Mini-Farm" on this website and it has its own pricing with separate restrictive covenants.
